I was born on the tiny island of Jamaica and no stranger to remarkable food. A particularly picky eater, I was surrounded by robust food flavors and a rich culinary history that included influences from all around the world. Observing the men and women around me perform ancient and modern cooking techniques, I was always taking mental notes that would eventually be the inspiration for Mr. Pimento. A simple culinary project with the goal of bringing true Jamaican flavors with a twist and a bang.

We want to convince people of all walks of life to give Mr. Pimento a try. We want people to share in the developing story and mission of the brand. Food is about nourishment first of all, followed by communion and people coming together for a memorable experience. So whether it’s for a quick lunch, last minute dinner, or the occasional catering bonanza we want people to have intensely delicious and mostly healthy Jamaican grub that they will thoroughly enjoy.
